Neil's Gift Guide

This year, my gift guide highlights my favorite reads of the year, covering the spectrum from queer joy to sorrow, the infinite diversity of nature, and the power of stories to tear us down or lift us up. My Lopi blanket is absolutely perfect for snuggling up under while reading, warm without being heavy--as is Kelbourne Woolens' Erin, which I used to make a turtleneck ultra-crop sweater (a shop sample favorite!). 

I love using Cast On, Bind Off to choose beginnings and endings for my knitting projects where there's no recommendation (or where I know I need to adjust based on my own style), and The Fleece and Fiber Sourcebook is invaluable for fiber crafters, especially ones who are into many different crafts.

Finally, Dinner in One has saved my bacon countless times this year, with recipes that are doable even when you're tired and Burgerville is calling.
