Make your own Jimothy! Colorwork Crochet Class

When & Where: Saturday, October 3rd, 9:30am -12:30pm At Daydreamer Coffee Shop, 7315 N Fessenden St.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner, student should be experienced with chain stitch and single crochet.
Class Description: Make your very own Jimothy! This class will introduce you to three different colorwork skills so you can start creating your own colorwork projects. Jimothy square can be turned into a coaster, a mini pillow, a coin pouch or whatever you can dream up! This is a 3 hour class taught by Brielle Hohne. Project may need to be completed at home but this class will teach you the skills you need to make so many colorwork crochet project! Drinks and food will be available to purchase at Daydreamer.
Required Materials to bring: Worsted weight cotton yarn in 3 colors (grey, black and white for Jimothy) and a 4th color for background (can be any color you'd like.) and a 4.5mm hook. Materials are available to purchase at Weird Sisters or scrap yarn is great for Jimothy too! Daydreamer has a free little yarn library with lots of colors. If you register for this class, you will receive a 10% off coupon for the required class supplies.

Brielle began crocheting in 2011 and has crocheted everything under the sun, from amigurumi (stuffed animals) to blankets to wearables. She has been teaching crochet since 2021, first in Austin, TX and then in Portland, OR. Her most recent class was Crochet Your Own Basketball Jersey at the Sports Bra. When not crocheting, Brielle sings with the Portland Lesbian Choir and takes her dog Mochi for walks. |
Class minimum: 3
Class maximum: 8
Class Policy: This class requires a minimum of 5 students. Notification of cancellation will be sent within 3 days before class start time if the minimum is not met. In the case of shop cancellation, all registered students will be refunded the class fee. Any additional fees including materials and shipping will not be refunded. Student cancellations are not refundable. Store Credit or class transfers may be issued for student cancellations up to 3 days before class start date. After that, no transfers, refunds or store credits will be issued. Missed classes or no-shows can not be refunded, exchanged or transferred.
Covid Policy: Masks are currently optional but encouraged. Please bring your own mask. Please do not attend class if you are not feeling well or have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 5 days of class start time.
