This winter we're exploring one of our favorite creatures of folklore, the Nine-Tailed Fox spirit. Is that piercing cry deep in the woods an omen of fortune or danger ahead? Only the fox knows how the story will end...
She is a beautiful shapeshifter, a mischievous tempter, an unpredictable harbinger of delights and tragedy. At her whim she lures wicked men to their doom, bestows wealth to humble villages, reunites old lovers, makes empresses, and fells kingdoms green or ancient.
