Knitting 102: Next Steps

Skill Level: Beginner; Student should know how to cast on and be familiar with the knit stitch.

Class Description:

Take the next steps in your knitting journey with us! This class builds off of what we have learned in Knitting 101 and is perfect for those who have taken Knitting 101 with us or have learned to knit at some point prior but need some instruction to refresh their memories. We will cover the purl stitch, binding off your work, finishing steps and increases and decreases (optional).

While we stitch we will also discuss some yarn basics that should help you move forward with your knitting journey!

Materials to bring: any progress you have made on your Knitting 101 swatch, or any worsted weight yarn and US size 8 knitting needles. You will also need a tapestry needle.

Class Minimum: 5 students

Class Maximum: 10 students

Class Policy: This class requires a minimum of 5 students. Notification of cancellation will be sent within 3 days before class start time if the minimum is not met. In the case of shop cancellation, all registered students will be refunded the class fee. Any additional fees including materials and shipping will not be refunded. Student cancellations are not refundable. Store Credit or class transfers may be issued for student cancellations up to 3 days before class start date. After that, transfers or store credits will not be issued. Missed classes or no-shows can not be refunded, exchanged or transferred.

Covid Policy: Masks are currently optional but encouraged. Please bring your own mask. Please do not attend class if you are not feeling well or have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 5 days of class start time.
