Alix's Gift Guide
My gift guide this year is a blend between things that I would love to get as gifts and things I always recommend as gifts!
- Lantern Moon has the silkiest wood needles I've ever used. The ebony wood seems to glide more than bamboo needles. Plus they are so so pretty! If there is a knitter in your life who doesn't have an interchangeable needle set yet, you will literally change their knitting life with this one gift.
- KnitPro's new Oasis set of hooks are an organizational miracle and though I haven't had a chance to hook with them yet, that wood handle looks way more ergonomic than what I've been working with for years. My hand yearns for this set.
- If you know nothing about a reader or maker/crafter in your life, the perfect gift is the Lumos Light. It's perfect for reading in bed, working on projects while lights are low (like watching a movie!) or for social reading/crafting in low light situations. Plus you don't have to consider if the recipient has read that book or like that yarn color.
- Grist, Pulp, & Ruffage by Abra Berens make up a trio of cookbooks that any ingredient focused chef would be proud to own. My very own chef (my husband DJ) has collected all three and loves them!
