An annual Portland experience, the Rose City Yarn Crawl is a four-day event for fiber enthusiasts to explore the many local yarn shops in and around Portland. 2025 will mark the 16th year of celebrating Portland as a yarn and fiber destination!Â

The crawl theme this year is Our Sky Full of Stars and our specific shop theme is the Summer Triangle which is made up of the constellation stars of Vega (Lyra), Altair (Aquila), and Deneb (Cygnus). We have a lot of fun in-shop events and special items planned for March 6th-9th. Read on to plan ahead:
Our Extended Crawl Hours
March 6th - 9th
Thursday - Saturday: 10am - 7pm
Sunday: 10am - 5pm
Please Note: In order to serve everyone safely and to the best of our abilities, certain services may be modified or unavailable during crawl. Yarn winding and project services will be suspended. Shipping times may be delayed by 3-5 days. It's a good weekend to leave your pooches at home or with a friend outside.

How to Crawl with us
Passports & Prizes
In-Store Passport: Visit all 10 shops in person and collect stamps from each shop to turn in your in-person passport and enter to win the mega grand prize full of goodies from dozens of amazing fiber sponsors.
Virtual Passport: Visit all 10 shop websites and enter in each shop's password into the RCYC online passport to enter to win a virtual passport prize.
