When: Sundays, February 8th and 22nd, 4:00-5:30pm
Where: In Person at Weird Sisters
Level: Student should be comfortable knitting and purling and knitting in the round.
Class Description:
Intimidated by charted patterns? This cowl makes a great addition to any wardrobe, plus it's a super fun way to crush chart-reading. Students will learn how to work from a chart, read their knitting, and fix mistakes. This is a pattern you will want to make over and over again!
Materials to Bring (from Pattern):
- One 16” circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge
Suggested: US 7 (4.5 mm) - Approximately 175 yards of sport or light-DK weight yarn.
- Our gray sample is knit in Savannah Rose Handmade Audrey Worsted or we recommend using: Hey Mama Wolf Mokosh , Fiction Fiber Evil Fruit DK as a fun hand dyed option or super luxe Blue Sky Fibers Baby Alpaca (you will need 2 of these ones)
- Tapestry needle, various stitch markers.

*All Students are required to purchase their own copy of the pattern.
Required Homework:
Purchase a copy of the Ptarmigan Cowl, Cast-on and work the first 6 rounds according to pattern. Celeste will follow up with more homework details prior to class starting.
Class Minimum: 3 students
Class Maximum: 8 students

Class Policy: This class requires a minimum of 3 students. Notification of cancellation will be sent within 3 days before class start time if the minimum is not met. In the case of shop cancellation, all registered students will be refunded the class fee. Any additional fees including materials and shipping will not be refunded. Student cancellations are not refundable. Store Credit or class transfers may be issued for student cancellations up to 7 days before class start date. After that, no transfers, refunds or store credits will be issued. Missed classes or no-shows can not be refunded, exchanged or transferred.
Covid Policy: Masks are currently optional but encouraged. Please bring your own mask. Please do not attend class if you are not feeling well or have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 5 days of class start time.
