Kids Crochet Class (Summer 2026)
3 Sessions; registration is for all three dates.
When: Sundays, July 26th, August 2nd & 9th from 4:00-5:30pm
Where: In-Person at Weird Sisters.
Taught by: Cambria Olson, Certified Crochet Instructor, ACA
Age: Kids aged 8-12 / 3rd grade and up
Level: All Levels, total beginner to more advanced.
Class Description:
In this class, you will learn the basic stitches of crochet and then how to get those stitches into neat patterns! Conquer the magic circle and level-up your crochet crafting to all kinds of fun shapes! We will even put crochet onto things you can find around your home. Bring your own supplies and your can-do attitude.
Materials required: Bring worsted to light chunky yarn and a size H, I, J, or K hook or purchase an optional class kit if you need supplies!
Minimum Student Count: 3
Maximum Student Count: 6
Teacher Bio: Cambria Olson crochets and knits in all her free time and enjoys teaching children these comforting crafts. She lives in the St. Johns neighborhood of Portland, Oregon with her family, pets and a ghost guppy. Be friends with her on instagram @cambriajolson and WoyaWorkshop on Ravelry.
Kid's Class Policy:
Our kid's classes are kept small with 3-6 students to maximize each student's instruction time.
Our kid's classes are drop-off only classes. If your child needs your assistance during class, please let us know and we can try and arrange alternative accommodations.
Masks are currently optional. If they plan to wear one, please send your child to class with their own mask. Please do not bring your child to class if they have been sick in the last 24 hours or have tested positive for Covid within 5 days of class start time.
Cancellations: This class fee is non-refundable. Student cancellations, missed classes or no-shows can not be refunded, exchanged or transferred. In the case of shop class cancellation, all registrants will be refunded the class fee. Any additional fees including materials are non-refundable. Store class cancellations will be sent 3 days before class start time if minimum is not met.
