This time is especially tough for so many of our incredible community members. We are supporting two critical organizations this quarter. Choose one or support both if you are able to. We don't believe everyone will be able to contribute financially but we do believe in the power of messaging, of grassroots sharing, and keeping attention on what is needed.
Donate directly to PIRC through our partnership donation page or add the PIRC item to your cart.
Donate to NAYA through the Willamette Week Give Guide or add the NAYA item to your cart.
100% of funds from this $5 donation item will go to our current community contribution partners. You can add more quantities to increase your donation.
Each quarter Two Rivers and Weird Sisters selects an organization that is doing work in the community that we want to support.
Our first Q4 partner, Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition (PIRC) has been on the front lines, defending the rights of immigrants in our community since 2005. With the help of supporters and volunteers, PIRC equips immigrants with vital knowledge about their rights, providing comprehensive training on ICE interactions and fostering a well-informed community. They provide literature resources, legal guides and the PIRC hotline, 1-888-622-1510, for finding community help and immigration attorney services.
Our other Q4 partner, Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA), is a community built family of numerous indigenous tribes and voices rooted in sustaining tradition and building cultural wealth. They provide inclusive, culturally-specific programs and services for all ages including early childhood education, camps and seasonal programs, housing support, foster care, elder services, a community garden and so much more.
