Cormo wool is one of our favorite sheep breed fibers for making garments and accessories. It's incredibly lofty and next to skin soft yarn with a great stitch definition. It's bouncy, elastic and smooth making it a wonderful knitting experience.
Cormo is a crossbred sheep originally developed in Tasmania, Australia in the early 1960's by crossing Corriedale rams with superfine Saxon Merino ewes.
All our indie dyed yarns such as this are hand dyed in small batches and colors will vary from skein to skein. Each photo is of a single skein from a specific batch and represents the general aspects of each colorway but may not be an exact match. We highly recommend purchasing multiple skeins at once for larger projects.
