The Longest Night Brings New Light! We embrace the new winter's long dark night, knowing this darkness will turn to light and with it - hope, optimism, and joyful anticipation of things to come and the work to be done. We appreciate our hardy and gentle hands to sow and sew, cozy nights with our pets and loved ones, the mystery of the dark and the preparation required of creativity.
Our 2025 Winter Solstice Box celebrates the chance for renewal, the patient return of warmer days, and new opportunities. Our graphic was designed by St. Johns artist, Skye McNeill and was inspired by heirloom quilted pieces (zoom in to see the stitch textures!), nocturnal creatures, and the quiet calm before the bustle of dawn. The owl often represents wisdom, mystery and clairvoyance. The moth, transformation and rebirth. Winter blooms of hellebore and witch hazel remind us of our resilience in the coldest darkest seasons.
